Carrier Information

Frontier Airlines

Frontier Airlines flies into Aspen with four daily non-stop flights from Denver International Airport (DEN) on a new fleet of Bombardier Q400 aircraft. The quiet, fuel-efficient and technologically-advanced Q400 is ideal for flying into airports like Aspen’s Sardy field (operated by Lynx Aviation).

With seating for up to 74 passengers the Q400 has no weight restrictions in the summer and is more resilient to tailwinds than other aircraft models.

United Airlines

United Airlines is Aspen Sardy Field’s largest airline carrier with more daily flights than all the other airlines serving ASE combined. United's newest once-daily non-stop flights from Houston into the Roaring Fork Valley will be operated as United Express service, from January 4, 2011 through April 2, 2011. United is also scheduled to operate four daily non-stops from Chicago, three from Los Angeles, two from San Francisco, and 11 daily trips between Aspen and Denver, for a total of 21 flights daily into and out of Aspen/Snowmass for this upcoming winter season. All flights into Aspen/Snowmass will be operated by SkyWest Airlines with CRJ700 aircraft, featuring a United First cabin and United Economy Plus seating, which offers customers up to five inches of additional legroom.
